What is Loadd SMP?
A Minecraft survival server, and a growing community with a chill vibe.
Loadd SMP is one shared survival world for Java and Bedrock players. You gather, build, trade and explore, on your own or with friends, and everything built here stays here. It all runs on the server, so there's nothing to install.
It's for anyone who wants a friendly place to play, kids and adults alike. Everyone agrees to the rules when they join, so the people you meet chose to be here and know how it works. No buying your way to the top, and no getting shouted at for being new.

A real player economy
Earn Loadd Tokens by selling, trading, taking jobs and claiming bounties. Spend them at the shop and the auction house.

Join the Discord (optional)
Staff and announcements live there, and it's the best place to ask for help. Open the invite. 12 or under? Discord requires its members to be 13 or older, so use our ticket system instead, with a parent or guardian.
Read the rules
There is nothing to fill in first. The rules are short, so skim them before you build anything you care about.
Connect and play
Add the server in Minecraft and go straight in. Java needs the address; Bedrock needs the address and the port.
Step-by-step help for Java and Bedrock is on the How to join page. On Xbox, PlayStation or Switch you can't type a server address, but there is a workaround, and staff will walk you through it in Discord.
What you do day to day
It's survival, at your own pace.
You arrive at spawn, by the river. From there it's up to you: gather, build a base, explore, farm, trade, or team up with friends. Selling what you gather earns money, and even everyday things are worth something.
Type /loadd any time for a menu of shortcuts: the shops, the auction house, selling, teleports, games and more. Farms only run while a player is within 200 blocks of them.

How money works
Two balances, both earned in game. Neither can be bought with real money.
Loadd Tokens ($)
The in-game money: your $ balance. Loadd's money runs on its own scale, so prices are big numbers and even everyday things you gather are worth good money.
Earn them
Gather and sell. Almost everything you mine, farm, chop or get from mobs is worth money. /sellall sells everything the shop buys and shows what each item pays before you confirm, /sellhand sells what you're holding, and /sellgui lets you put items in and see the total first.
Sell to other players. In the auction house you set your own price: hold the item and type /ah sell <price>. Listings last 14 days, the money goes straight into your account when it sells, and the auction house keeps 1% of each sale.
Trade. Swap items with other players, or sell to them directly and get paid with /pay.
Take a job. Players post jobs with a reward, like building, farming or finding something. Pick one from the job board with /getajob; the reward is held by the server, so it's there for you when the poster pays out.
Claim a bounty./wanted lists players with a price on their head. Only a player kill pays.
The casino (13 and over)./casino has slots, the wheel, coinflip, roulette, crash, mines, blackjack, higher or lower, dice and a jackpot, and /bet lets two players bet on a game of skill (the money is held until the bet is settled). You can lose as well as win, so there are daily loss limits, and /lgbreak lets you take a break or lock yourself out. In-game money only, and players 12 or under can't use it.
Loadd Snake. Play the browser game on this site with your account, linked to your Minecraft account (type /link in game): beat Level 1 in one life for $300,000, Level 2 for $750 million, Circus (Level 3) for $37.5 billion, or the Demon (Level 5) for $1.8 trillion. Older versions still play, but only the newest version earns prizes. Play it.
Spend them
/shop sells every item in the game at set prices.
/ah is the auction house. Players set their own prices, so they move.
Pay another player with /pay <player> <amount>.
Post a job with /jobwanted, or a bounty with /wanted <player>. The money is held until it's paid out or refunded.
/bal shows your balance.
Gold Loadd Tokens
A second balance you earn just by playing. It stays on your account: it's never an item, and it can't be passed to another player.
Earn them
1,000 for every hour you're online (Loadd Normal gets 2,000). Being AFK counts.
A weekly reward for your rank: 5,000 with no rank, 40,000 for Loadd Mini, 200,000 for Loadd Normal.
Spend them
/goldshop sells the Loadd tools and armor: the Excavator, Blade, Mace, Spear and the Loadd Armor set.
The most powerful items can be bought once every 21 days.
You never have to buy anything: whatever tokens buy, you can also mine, grow, build or trade for. Tokens can't be bought with real money. There's no store, and there won't be one.
PvP, griefing and dying
This is real survival: other players can fight you and break into what you build.
PvP is on
Across the map, apart from areas staff have protected. Players can't claim land here; only staff can protect an area.
Griefing is allowed
Other players can break into and change what you build. That's the game, not a rule break, so hide your valuables and build smart.
Dying costs you
You lose what you're carrying when you die. If someone has put a bounty on you, the player who kills you collects it.
The combat tag
A real fight (three hits or 10 damage between two players) tags you both. /home and /afk stay blocked until 15 seconds after the last hit, and logging out mid-fight kills you.
12 or under? If you have a real reason to need a protected base, contact our staff here, with a parent or guardian. Discord requires its members to be 13 or older, so younger players reach staff through our ticket system.
Don't want to fight? Ask staff and they can teach you how to PvP, or stick around zones where there's typically no PvP.
Getting around
Homes, teleports, and a safe spot for when you step away.
Homes
Set homes at your base and /home takes you back: 3 with no rank, 4 with Loadd Mini, 6 with Loadd Normal. /tpa asks to teleport to a friend.
The Nether and the End
/region takes you to a random safe spot in the Nether or the End, never inside a protected area. It has a 60-second cooldown and doesn't work mid-fight.
The AFK zone
Stepping away? /afk takes you to a gold platform where nothing can hurt you, and you keep earning Gold Loadd Tokens. You can only walk around there (no chat, commands or items). /afk again brings you back to where you were.

See the whole world and what people have built on the live map. It opens over HTTP in a new tab, so your browser may warn you.
Ranks: earned, never sold
Everyone starts with no rank. Two ranks come from how you play, never from real money.

You apply on the Ranks page with a playloadd.com account, and staff approve every rank. Players with active strikes can't apply.
The rules come down to this: be kind, keep chat fit for all ages, play fair (no hacked clients, x-ray, duping or auto-clickers), and don't use the live map to hunt someone down. They're short, so read them before you build anything you care about.
Staff step in when something goes wrong. Most bans can be appealed with a ticket in Discord, and a person reads every one.

Running now
Season 1
Loadd SMP is in its first season. The world is live and everything built here stays here.
What's in S1: Loadd Tokens across the shop, auction house and player trades, Gold Loadd Tokens and the Gold Shop, bounties and a job board, Java and Bedrock cross-play, a live map, and PvP outside the areas staff protect.
Season 2 happens if S1 becomes a hit, not on a fixed date. The plan for it: a bigger Discord, a better-built spawn, more community builds, and a more polished setup overall. Same world philosophy, just further along.
The live map opens over HTTP in a new tab, so your browser may show a warning first. It also needs WebGL; if it stays black, turn on hardware acceleration in your browser settings.
You can now tie your Minecraft account (Java or Bedrock), your Discord and a playloadd.com account together as one Loadd Account. Get a code with /link in game and type it into /link in Discord, or do it the other way round.
Five levels of snake that get harder every time: enemies, lights out, portals that flip the screen, and the Demon at the end. With a playloadd.com account, it's a chance to win in-game money on Loadd SMP: beat Level 1 in one life for $300,000, Level 2 for $750 million, Circus (Level 3) for $37.5 billion, or the Demon (Level 5) for $1.8 trillion and 2,000,000 Gold Loadd Tokens.
Prizes are in-game money only, never real money. Your levels are saved as you go; prizes need one life from Level 1. No account? You can still play just for fun.
Community levels: make your own Loadd Snake levels with blocks (no typing code needed), share them as a single file, and play levels other players made. Creators can offer their own in-game prizes, paid by them, not by Loadd. You need an account to make one, and staff check every level before it's listed.
A macOS app with a set of fun games to play. Some are made by Loadd. Some aren't, and those belong to the developers who made them, credited in the app. It isn't ready yet, and we'd rather ship it late than ship it broken.
When it's out, the download will live here. Expect it to be large, around 4 GB.
