Privacy

Written in plain language, because that's the only way we'd want to read one.

Loadd is a small project run by a few people. We keep the minimum we need to run a server safely, we don't sell anything, and we don't run ads. This page says what that minimum is. Last updated September 2026.

This website

The site is static. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising trackers. The one form is the ticket system for players 12 or under, covered in its own section below.

It is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for a short period for security and abuse prevention. See Netlify's own privacy policy for how they handle that.

Fonts are served from this site, not from Google. Nothing on the page is fetched from a third party, so no other company sees that you visited.

The Loadd Bot chat in the corner runs entirely in your browser. It's a fixed script. Nothing you type in it is sent anywhere or stored.

The home page shows whether the server is online and, when players are on, their usernames and the faces from their Minecraft skins. That comes from a public status service anyone can query for any server, and the skin images are fetched from mc-heads.net. Your username appears there only while you are playing, and it disappears when you log off. Nothing about it is stored by this site.

Taking your name off. Ask a staff member in our Discord and we will add you to a list the site checks, after which your name stops appearing even while you are online. The player count still counts you, because that number is just a number and naming nobody would make it wrong.

If you are 12 or under and you do not want this information on our website, please visit our Discord at https://discord.gg/VUZHkJ8ZBp and ask us to take it down. Have a parent or guardian do that for you. If you are 12 or under, the ticket system reaches the same staff without Discord.

Please give us a little time. We are a small team, every takedown is done by hand, and it can take a few days before the change is live.

Contact tickets

The ticket system is the one form on the site. It exists for players 12 or under, who cannot use Discord, and a parent or guardian is asked to send it with them. The helper on that page is a script that runs in your browser; nothing you type reaches us until you press Send. When you do, we receive exactly what you typed: the topic, the player's age bracket, the Minecraft username, the edition, a parent or guardian's contact if given, your answers, and a reference number the page makes up so we can both talk about the same ticket. Netlify records your IP address with the submission for spam filtering.

Tickets are stored by Netlify, which hosts the site, and are visible only to Loadd staff. A copy may be posted into a private staff channel in Discord so we see it quickly. Nothing you write is shared beyond staff or used for anything except dealing with the ticket.

Every ticket gets a 20-character id made of random letters, digits and symbols. That id is the key to the ticket: on the tickets page it shows whether the ticket is open, answered or closed, shows what staff have written, and lets you write back. It never shows the application answers or anyone's contact details. Anyone who has the id can read and answer that conversation, so keep it between the player and a parent or guardian. We cannot recover a lost id.

The conversation is stored with the ticket on Netlify. Staff read and answer tickets in a staff area that asks for a password first, locks out repeated wrong guesses, and only works over a secure connection.

We delete tickets within 90 days of closing them. If a ticket is a ban appeal, the outcome is kept with the moderation record, as described below.

Discord

Applications and support happen in our Discord server. Discord handles your account, messages, and any data they collect under their own privacy policy, which we don't control.

What we keep from Discord: your Discord username and ID, your application answers, and moderation notes (warnings, mutes, bans, appeals). We keep application answers and moderation notes while you're a member and for the length of any ban plus its appeal window. We don't share them outside staff.

The Minecraft server

To run the server we log:

What we don't collect: your real name, your email, your age beyond what you tell us on the application, payment details (there is nothing to buy), or anything from your computer beyond what the Minecraft client sends to every server.

Connection logs and IP addresses are kept for up to 90 days. Chat logs are kept for up to 90 days unless they're part of a moderation record, in which case they're kept with it. Gameplay data is kept as long as the world exists.

Younger players

The server is open to all ages, and we take that seriously. We never ask a young player for more than a Minecraft username, and we encourage parents to sit with them for the application. If you're a parent and want to know what we hold about your child, or want it removed, message a staff member in Discord.

If your child is 12 or under and you do not want their username on our website, visit our Discord and ask us to take it down. It may take a few days, because there are only a few of us and we do it by hand.

Questions and requests

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it removed, message a staff member in our Discord or, for players 12 or under, send a ticket from the ticket system. Removal means unwhitelisting you and deleting your application; we may keep a ban record if one exists, so it stays enforced.

If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in Discord.
