How to join

Apply on Discord, get whitelisted, connect. Here is each part in detail.

Apply first

The server is whitelisted, so the address won't let you in until staff have added you. Apply in Discord. If you're 12 or under, apply using our ticket system.

  1. Join the Discord

    Open the invite. Read the welcome channel; it tells you where the application is.

  2. Fill in the application

    A few short questions. Staff read every one, so give it a real answer. Use the exact username you will connect with, and parents are welcome to help younger players with this part.

  3. Get whitelisted

    Once you're approved, connect to loaddsmp.mcplay.fun and you're in. You'll get a message in Discord, or a question if something was unclear.

12 or under? Apply using our ticket system

Discord requires its members to be 13 or older, so if you are 12 or under you cannot apply there. Use our ticket system instead. Its helper asks the same questions staff ask in Discord, one at a time, and sends them to the same staff.

Apply with a ticket

Please ask a parent or guardian to sit with you. The application asks for their email or Discord username, because we would rather an adult knows where you are playing and we need someone to send the answer to. The ticket system is also how you reach staff later, for appeals or problems, until you're 13.

After you apply

We're a small team, so it can take a little while. You don't need to chase it. If your application is missing something, a staff member will ask.

If you aren't accepted, you can ask why, and you can apply again later. Most declines come down to a blank application or a username that doesn't exist.

Once you're whitelisted, claim your land before you build anything you care about, and skim the rules. They're short.

Everyone starts with a set number of claim blocks. If you run out and need to protect more ground, you can buy more with Loadd Tokens from a staff member. Ask in Discord or in game.

Java Edition

  1. Open Minecraft and choose Multiplayer.
  2. Choose Add Server.
  3. Name it anything, put loaddsmp.mcplay.fun in the address field, and choose Done.
  4. Select the server and choose Join Server.

Bedrock Edition

  1. Open Minecraft and choose Play, then the Servers tab.
  2. Scroll past the featured servers and choose Add Server.
  3. Name it Loadd, enter the address and port above, and save.
  4. Select it and join.

Playing on a console? Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch don't let you type a server address. There is a workaround, and staff will walk you through it in Discord.
