Privacy
Written in plain language, because that's the only way we'd want to read one.
Loadd is run by its staff team. We keep the minimum we need to run a server safely, we don't sell anything, and we don't run ads. This page says what that minimum is. Last updated September 2026.
This website
There are no analytics and no advertising trackers. The only accounts are ticket accounts, which belong to the ticket system for players 12 or under and are covered in its own section below.
It is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for a short period for security and abuse prevention. See Netlify's own privacy policy for how they handle that.
Blacklist and ban evasion. When you create a ticket account, sign in or send a ticket, the site records a scrambled code made from your IP address (a keyed hash, not the address itself, which we never store) and the random browser key this site keeps in your browser (in local storage and a cookie, so every page load carries it). An account keeps its last 20 address codes for up to 90 days and its last 10 browser keys. We use them only for one thing: if staff blacklist someone for serious abuse, the block covers the accounts, emails, browsers and internet connections they used, and if they come back with a new email, account, browser or connection, that is added to the same block and they see "You are blacklisted. Do not attempt to evade." An address code blocks for 30 days and is renewed only while that person keeps coming back; we block single connections, never a whole internet provider or network. Because a home or school connection can be shared, staff are shown which other accounts share it before they blacklist, and can lift the address part on its own. The site also sends a short code made from your browser type, language, time zone and screen size; on its own it never blocks anyone (many people share it) and is only shown to staff as a hint. A blacklisted browser also gets a cookie saying so. Everything a blacklist added is deleted when it is lifted. Staff sign-in addresses and browser keys are kept as the same kind of code for 90 days so staff can never be blocked by mistake.
Fonts are served from this site, not from Google. Nothing on the page is fetched from a third party, so no other company sees that you visited.
The Loadd Bot chat in the corner runs entirely in your browser. It's a fixed script. Nothing you type in it is sent anywhere or stored.
The home page shows whether the server is online and, when players are on, their usernames and the faces from their Minecraft skins. That comes from a public status service anyone can query for any server, and the skin images are fetched from mc-heads.net. Your username appears there only while you are playing, and it disappears when you log off. Nothing about it is stored by this site.
Taking your name off. Ask a staff member in our Discord and we will add you to a list the site checks, after which your name stops appearing even while you are online. The player count still counts you, because that number is just a number and naming nobody would make it wrong.
If you are 12 or under and you do not want this information on our website, please visit our Discord at https://discord.gg/VUZHkJ8ZBp and ask us to take it down. Have a parent or guardian do that for you. If you are 12 or under, the ticket system reaches the same staff without Discord.
Please give us a little time. Every takedown is checked by a person, and it can take a few days before the change is live.
Contact tickets
The ticket system is the one form on the site. It exists for players 12 or under, who cannot use Discord, and a parent or guardian is asked to send it with them. The helper on that page is a script that runs in your browser; nothing you type reaches us until you press Send. When you do, we receive exactly what you typed: the topic, the player's age bracket, the Minecraft username, the edition, a parent or guardian's contact if given, your answers, and a reference number the page makes up so we can both talk about the same ticket. Netlify records your IP address with the submission for spam filtering.
Tickets are stored by Netlify, which hosts the site, and are visible only to Loadd staff. A copy may be posted into a private staff channel in Discord so we see it quickly, and the same channel is told about later events (a reply, a new account, a ticket deleted) with the username and a partly hidden email, never the conversation. Nothing you write is shared beyond staff or used for anything except dealing with the ticket.
Every ticket gets a 20-character id made of random letters, digits and symbols. On the tickets page, signed in to the ticket account the ticket belongs to, the id shows whether the ticket is open, answered or closed, shows what staff have written, and lets you write back. It never shows the form answers or anyone's contact details. The id alone opens nothing: someone who has it but not the account sees nothing. A banned or timed-out account can't open its tickets while that lasts.
The conversation is stored with the ticket on Netlify. Staff read and answer tickets in a staff area where each staff member signs in with their own account, which locks out repeated wrong guesses and only works over a secure connection. While you write a reply, staff can see that you are typing (not what you type) until you send it, and you can see when a staff member is typing.
Ticket accounts. To send a ticket you need an account, usually created by a parent or guardian, or by the player where staff have agreed to an exception. We store the account's email address, the player's Minecraft username, and the password as a scrambled (hashed) value we can't read back. Staff are told about each new account and can ban or time it out. The email is visible only to staff; Discord staff posts show it partly hidden. Sign-ins last 30 days on that browser. You can delete your account yourself at any time from the account page: it asks for your password and a confirmation, then the account and every ticket on it are permanently deleted and staff can no longer write to you.
Emails. When a ticket is sent, and when staff open a ticket for you, an automatic email goes to the account's address with the ticket id, the time and the topic, through Resend, the email service we use for that. It is plain text and contains no tracking. Staff can also time out an account for a set time (10 minutes to 90 days); the account page shows until when and why. Rank applications are made with the same account: we store the rank, the age bracket you pick, what you write, a Rank ID, and which staff approved or declined it. A banned or timed-out account can't apply, and the applications are deleted with the account.
Your tickets and notifications. Staff can also start a ticket on an approved account, to write to you first. While you're signed in, the site checks whether staff have written in any of your tickets and shows a bar at the top if so; the account page lists your tickets. Which messages you've read is remembered in your browser only. Notifications are off unless you turn them on from the account page. If you do, your own browser shows them while the site is open in a tab; we don't use a notification service, and you can turn them off again there.
This browser. The ticket page saves a random code in your browser's storage and sends it with the ticket. It isn't a hardware ID and says nothing about your device; clearing your browser's data replaces it. It lets staff stop repeated abuse from the same browser.
Bans and blocks. If an account or browser is used to abuse the ticket system, staff can ban the account or block the browser. A ban also keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of the email so it can't sign up again; a block keeps a scrambled form of the browser code. Both stay until staff lift them. Each account can send up to 3 tickets a day.
We delete tickets within 90 days of closing them. If a ticket is a ban appeal, the outcome is kept with the moderation record, as described below.
Discord
Support happens in our Discord server. Discord handles your account, messages, and any data they collect under their own privacy policy, which we don't control.
What we keep from Discord: your Discord username and ID, any answers from past applications, and moderation notes (warnings, mutes, bans, appeals). We keep application answers and moderation notes while you're a member and for the length of any ban plus its appeal window. We don't share them outside staff.
Linking your accounts
If you link your Minecraft account to a Discord account or a ticket account, we store the Minecraft name and ID, the Discord username and ID (if you link Discord), which ticket account is linked (if you link one), your rank, your staff tier and whether you are banned on the server, so your roles match everywhere. We also keep a log of links and unlinks (IDs only) for 90 days. A parent or guardian can ask us, on our Discord or by ticket, to delete all of it.
If staff give you a chat pass (chat in our Discord without a linked Minecraft account), we store your Discord ID, which staff member gave it, when, and their short reason, until staff take it back or all your link data is deleted. Giving and taking back a pass is also posted in our private staff channel.
When your Minecraft account is linked to Discord, our bot sets your nickname in our Discord to your Minecraft name, and remembers that it did, so it can take that nickname off again if the link goes. Bans and blacklists on the Minecraft server that have an ID (LB- for a ban, BL- for a blacklist): we keep the ban ID, the player's Minecraft name and ID, the reason, which staff member banned them, and when it started and ends, so the ban can be looked up with /proof in our Discord. Anyone with the ban ID sees the name, reason and dates; only staff see the Minecraft ID and who banned. A lifted ban is kept for a year. No IP addresses are stored for this.
If you're 12 or under, you can't use Discord, but you can still open a ticket on our tickets page. Have a parent or guardian contact staff there. Staff will usually ask you to link your Minecraft account so they know it's really you.
The Minecraft server
To run the server we log:
- Your Minecraft username and UUID. This is how land claims and your account work.
- Your IP address at connection time. Used for security and for enforcing bans. Not linked to anything outside the server.
- Chat and command logs. Used for moderation, for checking griefing reports, and for appeals.
- Gameplay data. Inventory, position, claims, Loadd Token balance, and block changes. This is just how a survival world is saved.
What we don't collect: your real name, your email, your age beyond what you tell us in a ticket or a rank application, payment details (there is nothing to buy), or anything from your computer beyond what the Minecraft client sends to every server.
Connection logs and IP addresses are kept for up to 90 days. Chat logs are kept for up to 90 days unless they're part of a moderation record, in which case they're kept with it. Gameplay data is kept as long as the world exists.
Younger players
The server is open to all ages, and we take that seriously. We never ask a young player for more than a Minecraft username, and we encourage parents to sit with them while they play. If you're a parent and want to know what we hold about your child, or want it removed, message a staff member in Discord.
If your child is 12 or under and you do not want their username on our website, visit our Discord and ask us to take it down. It may take a few days, because there are only a few of us and we do it by hand.
Questions and requests
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it removed, message a staff member in our Discord or, for players 12 or under, send a ticket from the ticket system. Removal means deleting what we hold about you, including any old application answers; we may keep a ban record if one exists, so it stays enforced.
If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in Discord.
