Rules
Be decent to people and this place works fine.
The rules, by section
These rules can change. The #rules and #news channels in our Discord are the live version, and this page is updated when they change, so it is worth checking both.
These are the rules every player on Loadd SMP agrees to when they join.
1 Respect everyone
Slurs and hate speech
Racial, sexual, religious or any other slur, and any hate speech, wherever it appears: chat, signs, books, item names, skins, or the Discord. Instant ban lasting one year, with no same-day appeal.
Harassment
Targeting someone to make them miserable: following them around, baiting them, ganging up on them in chat, or carrying a grudge from one session to the next. Warning, then jail or mute, then a ban if it keeps going.
Impersonating staff or players
Claiming to be staff, claiming powers you don't have, or using a name or avatar meant to pass as a staff member or another player, in game or in Discord. Instant ban with no appeal.
Mocking or piling on
Making fun of someone, or joining in when someone else does. That includes their builds, their balance, their stats, and any punishment they've had. This is an all-ages server and it stays a decent place to be. Warning, then jail or mute, then a ban.
Sharing someone's private information
Posting another player's real name, location, face, or anything else they didn't put out there themselves. Instant ban with no appeal.
Arguing with staff over a decision
Disagreeing is fine. Arguing about it in chat won't change it and only makes the evening worse for everyone else. Open a ticket and make your case there; that is how decisions get looked at again.
2 Chat
Spam and flooding
Repeating messages, walls of caps, or flooding chat with commands. Warning, then jail or mute, then a ban.
Begging
Repeatedly asking other players or staff for items, ranks, or tokens. Once is a question. Over and over is begging.
Advertising
Promoting other servers, Discords, channels, or services, in chat, on signs, in books, or in your name.
Sexual content
None, anywhere: chat, signs, books, item names, skins, or builds.
Keep it appropriate for all ages
Players here range from kids to adults. If you wouldn't say it in front of a ten-year-old and their parent, don't say it here.
3 Fair play
Hacked clients and x-ray
Any client, mod, or texture pack that gives you movement, combat, or information a normal client doesn't, including seeing ores or bases through blocks. Performance mods and minimaps without cave or entity views are fine. Not sure about something? Ask before you join with it. The ban is temporary or permanent depending on what you did with it, and you can appeal it through a ticket.
Duping
Using any bug to copy items. If you find one, report it and don't use it. Temporary or permanent depending on what you did with it; appeal through a ticket.
Auto-clickers, macros and automation
Anything that plays the game for you. Treated exactly like hacked clients.
Lag machines
Builds made to hurt server performance. Normal farms are fine. Ask staff before building anything unusual.
4 Our videos and games
Downloading or leaking our videos and games
Downloading, ripping, copying or leaking any of our videos, live streams or games from playloadd.com, or trying to, including passing on a copy of a members-only video or our game files. That results in a blacklist from the website and a ban from the Discord, and it can affect your account in game and more. Recording your own Loadd Snake run to send to staff is fine.
Cheating in our games
Auto clickers, macros, scripts, bots, browser extensions or modified game files in Loadd Snake or any other game on playloadd.com. The server checks every winning run and refuses runs that weren't played fairly, so no prize is paid, and it's treated the same as leaking: a blacklist from the website, a ban from the Discord, and it can affect your account in game and more.
Paying the prizes on your community level
If you put a prize on your community level, you must pay every verified winner it awards, in game, to the account named on their LV- code, and mark it paid on the site. You only owe what the server awards, up to the prize budget you set when you published, so only offer what you can pay. Winners can report an unpaid prize to staff, and not paying can get your levels removed and your account banned. Prizes are in-game money only, never real money, and Loadd doesn't pay them for you.
5 Casino
12 or under: no casino
Players who are 12 or under are not permitted to use the casino on the server. That covers every casino game.
No fraud
No cheating or scamming, at the casino or anywhere else: rigging a game, backing out of a bet you lost, using a bug to win, or tricking someone out of their money, tokens or items in a trade. What you took goes back, and it's a jail, then a ban if it happens again.
In-game money only
The casino uses in-game money only. Never bet real money, gift cards, or anything from outside the game.
6 PvP and griefing
PvP and griefing are allowed
PvP is on across the map, apart from areas staff have protected, and you lose what you're carrying when you die. Griefing is allowed too: other players can break into and change what you build. That's the game, not a rule break, so hide your stuff and build smart.
Don't want to PvP?
Ask staff and they can teach you how to PvP, or stick around zones where there's typically no PvP.
If you are 12 or under: a safe base
If you're 12 or under and have a real reason to need a safe base, ask staff through the ticket system with a parent or guardian, and explain why.
7 Your account
It's yours, whoever was at the keyboard
You're responsible for everything done on your account. "My brother did it" isn't a defence. We have no way to check, and accepting it would excuse anything.
8 Appeals
How to appeal
Most bans can be appealed through a ticket in our Discord. One ticket, an honest account of what happened, and a few days' patience. A person reads every one. Opening a second ticket does not make it faster.
Hate speech bans
Run one year, with no same-day appeal.
What has no appeal
Staff impersonation, sharing another player's private information, and spamming applications.
If you are 12 or under
Ask a parent or guardian to open the ticket with you. Discord requires its members to be 13 or older, so younger players send their appeal from the ticket system on this site instead, with a parent or guardian, and the adult receives our reply. That page is only for players 12 or under; everyone else appeals in Discord.
This list is a minimum, not a limit. Anything built to cheat, automate, exploit, or harass is against the rules whether or not it is named here, and "it wasn't written down" is not a defence.
Please report every bug, glitch, cheater, or anything that breaks the rules to a staff member in the Discord (players 12 or under: use the ticket system). We want Loadd to be a safe, friendly and fun community for everyone.
Can't find something? Ask a staff member in the Discord.
